2020 Chevrolet Corvette Review and Specs
Few cars can spark the imagination quite like the Chevy Corvette. Steeped in automotive lore, this iconic sports car is one of the most recognizable, and almost anybody can identify it. Our Chevrolet dealers near Lakewood are always eager when next-year models come in, and our 2020 vehicles are expected to be especially impressive. In addition to the power and luxury that are staples with the Chevy Corvette, this new Chevy car has one unique feature; the engine is now behind the cockpit.
Power and Performance
The 2020 Chevy Corvette comes with a a 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. If that’s not enough for you, you can go with the Z51 Performance package, which increases the horsepower to 495 and the torque to 470. And while you may not get a lot of opportunities to put the pedal completely down to the metal, this car has a top speed of 194 mpg. Oh, and you can also go from zero to 60 mph in under three seconds.
An exceptionally nimble vehicle, rear-wheel drive and a limited-slip differential come standard. You can also get quite a few enhancements, including Brembo brakes, a performance suspension, a heavy-duty cooling system, and a Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Performance Traction Management system.
Interior and Safety
The 2020 Chevy Corvette may only have two seats, but they’re very supportive, and the cabin offers lots of head and legroom. Standard features include eight-way power-adjustable seats, leather upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and seat memory settings are also available.
New Chevy cars come with many advanced tech features, and every 2020 Chevy Corvette has HD and satellite radio, a USB port, Bluetooth® connectivity, voice recognition, Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™ integration, a Wi-Fi hot spot, and a 10-speaker Bose® sound system. If those aren’t enough, you can also get navigation, wireless device charging, and a 14-speaker Bose® audio system.
Every 2020 Chevy Corvette comes standard with rear parking sensors, along with the Teen Driver system that lets owners set limits on speed and radio volume for secondary drivers. The Chevy Corvette Stingray coupe also has a rearview camera, while the convertible comes with a built-in rearview camera mirror. Available safety features include rear cross-traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
