Chevy Bolt EUV

With the price of gas very high right now – and possibly getting even higher – you may not be terribly happy with the car you’re driving. If it can be described as a “gas guzzler,” this may be costing you a lot of money.

This is why now is the right time to think about trading it in for something much more fuel-efficient, and the 2022 Chevy Bolt EUV could be perfect.

Powertrain

Because it’s a fully electric vehicle, the Chevy Bolt EUV doesn’t come with an engine, but an electric motor that works with a 66-kWh lithium-ion battery. These combine to offer 200 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque.

MPGe

You won’t find many electric vehicles with better MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) than the Chevy Bolt EUV. It will give you 131 MPGe in the city and 109 MPGe on the highway.

Driving Range and Charging

On a full charge, you’ll be able to go up to 250 miles in your Chevy Bolt EUV. You can charge about four miles per hour with a 120-volt household-style outlet. But with a 240-volt outlet or a Level 2 charging station, the battery can be completely charged in about seven hours. At a DC Fast Charging station, you can get juiced up to go 95 miles in just 30 minutes.
