Displacing 409 cubic inches naturally aspirated, the LS6 6.7-liter V8 in the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport uses a 13.0:1 compression ratio and a 95-mm throttle body to produce 535 horsepower and 520 lb-ft of torque at a 6,600-rpm redline. Power routes to the rear wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, with Magnetic Ride Control™ and an electronic limited-slip differential standard. The hybrid Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport X adds a front electric motor to the same LS6 V8 for 721 combined horsepower and all-wheel-drive capability.
Technology Features
Magnetic Ride Control™ is standard on every new Chevy Corvette Grand Sport, with two available performance packages designed to enhance handling and track performance. The Z52 Sport Performance Package features Brembo® iron brakes inspired by the Corvette Z06, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires, and Performance Traction Management. For more advanced capability, the Z52 Track Performance Package includes carbon-ceramic Brembo® brakes, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R tires, and a quad center-exit exhaust. On the Grand Sport X, three selectable Power Modes, Endurance, Qualifying, and Push-to-Pass, allow you to manage your power delivery.
Safety Features
Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking are standard on the 2027 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, along with Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking and Rear Park Assist.
